Art and Karen Latto, originally from Minnesota, moved to Clearwater,Ontario, Canada in 1972 with little other than determination and each other. An outdoor enthusiast loving the Canadian wilderness, Art and Karen pioneered a life in outfitting. They worked their way up to having 18 camps at one time and eventually moved further north until settling inSavant Lake,Ontario. They fell in love the area and Art believed he had found the best Walleye and Northern lakes. These are still the lakes our customers call their home away from home today. For over 40 years the Latto family have been enjoying fishing and hunting ourselves so we have a solid foundation of the quality and service you would expect from a seasoned outfitter. The outposts are now run by Art and Karen’s son Jacob and wife Holly. To us, this is not a hobby it is our life.
